SENTRAL Parent Portal

Digital Technology

To better engage parents with their child’s learning, the Sentral Parent Portal provides a secured online portal for parents to learn more their child’s learning.

Within the Sentral Parent Portal parents will be able to access to information regarding their child’s academic progress (academic reporting) and student attendance information.

In addition to this, parents will be able to make bookings for parent-teacher interviews and to make payments for camps, excursions and incursions.

Newsletters

Advertising

Advertising is available in our fortnightly e-Newsletter. Each newsletter is emailed to families of the school (over 600 subscribers) and uploaded to the school website where it remains for permanent public access. The document is presented in a format which converts to view on a range of devices in full colour and can include links to your website, email or another .pdf document. This service is available at no charge to our LPPS Family Business Community.

For Business in our Local Community we charge $20 per issue to include your advertisement.

Please email the school a .PDF file with the amount of issues you wish to advertise. On receipt of payment your advertisement will be included.

Bell Times

For your convenience our current bell times are as follows:

8.45am – ‘Come inside, settle for the day’

9.00am – Commence Learning day

10.40am – Recess

11.10am – Middle Block of Learning time

12.50pm – Lunch

1.50pm – Final block of Learning time

3.30pm – Final group – Whole School Dismissal

Please select the year level your child/ren will be attending in 2022 and download both the Parent Payment and the Book List information for each child.

Under the Department of Education and Training’s Parent Payments Policy, Victorian government schools are required to provide transparent information to their school community on voluntary parent/carer contributions.

School Payments

Qkr App Instructions Qkr! (pronounced ‘quicker’) by MasterCard: the easy-to-use phone app that gives you the flexibility to place orders at a time and place that suits you. Qkr!

  • Saves you time by letting you order and pay for school items directly from your phone;
  • Reduces the need for your child to bring cash to school;

You will need to update your child’s details on QKR at the beginning of every year to show their new year level and grades. Please ensure you have the latest version of QKR—just update and you are ready to go.

Please check the planning guide in the current newsletter for details of activities and due dates for payment. Please note that if you are using the BPAY option, payment will need to be made 3 working days prior to the due date (to allow for bank processing). Payments received after the due date will not be accepted without the approval of the Principal.

CSEF | Financial Assistance Information for Parents

The Camps, Sports and Excursion Fund (CSEF) provides payments for eligible students to attend activities like:

  • School camps or trips
  • Swimming and school organised sports programs
  • Outdoor education programs
  • Excursions and incursions.

If you hold a valid means-tested concession card or are a temporary foster parent, you may be eligible for CSEF. A special consideration category also exists for asylum seeker and refugee families.

The allowance is paid to the school to use towards expenses relating to camps, excursions or sporting activities for the benefit of your child.

The annual CSEF amount per student is $125 for primary school students.

Note: If you qualified for CSEF last year then you do not need to complete a new form for this year. This will be automatically updated as per Centrelink/CSEF. If you have any queries please pop into the Finance Office.
