Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria.

Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined based on your permanent residential address.

Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and may enrol at another school, if there are available places.

2026 Foundation (Prep) Enrolments

Eligibility

To be eligible for Foundation enrolment, your child must be 5 years old by 30 April in the year in which they start school. Schooling is compulsory for children who have turned 6 years old.

The Department of Education has released the statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline for the 2026 school year.

The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Langwarrin Park Primary School (LPPS).

All government primary schools will follow the timeline in 2025 to support Foundation (Prep) enrolments for the 2026 school year.

You will be able to apply to enrol your child in Foundation (Prep) 2026 at Langwarrin Park Primary School from 22 April 2025.

What you need to do:

1. Using the LPPS School Tour Booking links on this page, book a school tour.

2. Contact our school office to learn more about the enrolment application process.

3. Download the Foundation (Prep) enrolment information pack from Enrolling in Foundation (Prep) (available by 22 April 2025). This pack includes an application form, which you can also request in hardcopy by attending our school office.

4. Submit an enrolment application for Foundation (Prep) by Friday 25 July 2025.

5. You will be notified of the outcome of your application between Monday 28 July and Friday 8 August 2025. If you receive an enrolment offer, you should contact our school to accept the offer by Friday 22 August 2025. Enrolment forms and transition program information will be provided to applicants offered placement for 2026.

6. Take part in enrolment information and transition sessions during Term 4, 2025.

7. Prepare your child to start Foundation (Prep) from Wednesday 28 January 2026.

Enrolment applications submitted after 25 July 2025 will be processed by our school as they are received, in accordance with the department’s Placement Policy.

You’ll also get a firsthand look at our age-specific playgrounds and learn about the exciting programs that enrich our students’ learning.

During the tour, we’ll share insights into how we nurture Literacy, Numeracy, and Wellbeing, fostering a supportive and engaging environment for every child. The tour lasts approximately 30 minutes, and we encourage you to bring your children along to explore with us.

The Enrolment Information Pack for Parents and Carers will be available on this website by Tuesday 22 April 2025. This pack will include a copy of the enrolment timeline and Frequently Asked Questions. It will also include an application form. Families can use the application form in this pack to apply for enrolment.
